Product Description
How in the world do you expect a driver to see you if you can't see them? Your life requires illumination, and we're not talking about the existential variety. If there's the slightest chance that you might ever ride at night, you need the Portland Design Works Cosmic Dreadnought 110 Headlight. You'll be safer, the cars on the road will be safer, and you'll be able to get from A to B in one piece while having a great time. After all, the journey is greater than the destination, but the journey is terrible if you get hit by a car along the way. Portland Design Works' Cosmic Dreadnought 110 operates in accordance to its name. Designed to be a light in the darkness, a guide through the void, a battleship on the seas of nightfall, the Cosmic Dreadnought unleashes apowered LED explosion of a blinding 110 lumen light. This should completely illuminate a path of around 85 meters ahead of you, and the brain behind the whole operation is the Cree XPE LED bulb. If you're not familiar with Cree, they're a legend in LED lighting -- this might be an understatement. Believe it or not, but the same mind behind the lights at your municipal airport and museum is making your way home from the bar a whole lot safer. And even though humans are brilliant enough to conjure up light from the darkness, we still can't control the weather. That's why the entire system has been housed in a water-resistant case, so that rain or shine, you'll be riding safely. For easy attachment, the Dreadnought features an integrating mounting clip that can secure to either 22.0 or 31.8mm handlebars. The light operates on two AAA batteries, and features three visibility modes -- high, low, and flashing. You can expect around 10 hours of battery life on high, 15 hours on low, and 25 hours on flash mode. The Portland Design Works Cosmic Dreadnought 110 Headlight is available in one color and a 98x41x35mm size . All corresponding batteries are included with your light.
