A lower setting will guarantee you 50 hours worth of light time, and if you like to set your headlights to flash, you can squeeze out 200 hours of run-time.Since all NiteRider lights are intended to make you as visible as possible, the Mako makes the best use of its small size by emitting a red light from "gills" along the sides of the lamp. This will mean that motorists will be more aware of you even when coming at you from an angle. At just 165 grams, you'll hardly notice any added heft to your training or commuting machine. The Mako runs on two AA batteries, which are included with the light.
